about me

I live in sunny London with my beautiful Fiancee, in a nice flat with a good view.  I have a successful guitar teaching business in E14 Canary Wharf, London and work as a freelance guitarist, composer, guitar tutor and workshop leader.
Most of my work is playing in bands and working on studio recording sessions.
I am also an endorsee of Rotosound strings and RJM guitar products.

I’ve been a professional musician and guitar tutor since 18 years old and have taught in schools, colleges, privately, publicly, in classes, workshops, one to one… pretty much most guitar teaching situations.
As a performer, I’ve played on lots of stages over the years in a lot of places, including some very big ones.  I was brought up ‘old-school’ on the ‘circuit’ if one still exists… my record is 251 gigs in one year, although that’s still 105 days off – slacker!
I also have a company that provides music workshops all over the country for children and young adults who have special learning needs; which I find to be some of my most rewarding work so far.

Having recently turned 30, I’ve decided to share some of my experiences, opinions and what knowledge I have gained so far with the world, by way of blogging – I hope you enjoy some of my articles – if you do, please subscribe and comment and I will endeavour to do the same.
If you don’t, that’s also cool – just be constructive and I’ll listen.
